Unable to run query - "ARIS Design Server Not Available"

Dear all experts,

I'm current on version 9.7. (ARIS design server + ARIS architect)

I run into "ARIS Design Server Not Available" error whenever I try to run query.

I read in another post where someone rectified the issue by restarting octopus (Analysis Server), but this doesn't work for me.

I took a look at the client log and saw this line:

"Octopus Server responded with code 404 to request /octopus/adapters"

Anyone can help interpret code 404? Where can I locate the corresponding log in the server (we're running on Windows environment)? There are like tons of log files there.

Dear KH,

Such technical issues can hardly be solved here. Therefore, please contact Global Support ARIS via Software AG Empower/eService. I suggest to attach your log files on your support ticket. The log files can be easily zipped via in folder C:\SoftwareAG\ARIS9.7\Support.

I get the same message occasionally. Could this be a server performance issue? Server CPU load spikes to 100% when executing queries and sometimes i get the error message in the topic.
