Hi,
I need to install Aris to be used on SAP Implementation Project, integrated with my Solution Manager.
I installed the Aris Business Server / Site Manager (install option BS_SM), with Oracle 11g Database on Linux x86.
Which products do I need to install something else JCO library, BS and SM, to create BPMN diagrams and integrate with Solution Manager?
Regards,
Abdon
You don't need to create BPMN diagrams to Sync with SolMan. Just define the mapping (VACD, EPC, EPC or VACD, CACD,EPC) within Aris Options, establish a connection between SolMan & Aris in Aris Options and run Sync from SolMan into Aris. This will pull the SolMan ids into Aris. After modeling is completed on the models with SAP ids Sync back into SolMan to transfer the urls, etc.
Hi Abdon,
Some more considerations:
· Ensure you have the correct SAP GUI installed
· Request the Solman security guys to give you access to the Solman box (request permissions that will enable you to create projects)
· Install the sapjcorfc.dll and librfc32.dll in the Windows installation directory/system32 directory of all clients and on the ARIS Business Server

Anita
Hi,
I manage the Solman box.
- I have the information from customer that the diagrams need to be created on ARIS. This is possible? How can this be done?
- Which clients must be installed to access Aris Business Server?
- My Aris server (BS and SM) is installed on Linux and customers with desktop Windows. Where the SAP JCO must be installed on Linux?

Abdon
Hi Abdon,
Explain base on Window OS.
1. At SolMan, install Fucntion(K900640.SOL, R900640.SOL)
- File : ARIS DVD-xxx\Addons\ARIS for SAP\ABAP\Solution Manager\
2. At SolMan, create project
3. download SAPJco at URL(http://service.sap.com/connectors) for Linux
- find proper jco.zip consider OS, bit, ARIS version
- use SAPJco3 since ARIS 7.2 xxxxx (I don't know exactly minor version).
4. copy sapjco.jar file to below dir
- c:\program files\aris 7.2\server\lib <- for ARIS Business Server
- c:\program files\aris7.2\JavaClient\lib <-for local ARIS Business Architect
5. restart ARIS Business Server
6. set options/SAP options at ARIS Business Architect for SolMan
- Select Server, Solution Manager, Method Configuration
7. At ARIS Business Architect, execute SAP/transfer project menu.
