Download Problems

Hi,

i can not install aris express. It seems that the download is not working correctly. It collapsed after the half. Using the latest version of firefox. The application has only 77 MB.

Ich kann leider nicht Aris express installieren. Ungefähr bei der Hälfte bricht der Download einfach ab. Ich verwende die neuste Version von Firefox. Die Anwendung hat dann nur 77MB und nicht 170 wie in der Anleitung zu lesen. Folgend die Fehlermeldung die ich erhalte sobald ich die Anwendung starte:

Could you please check this.

I have the same problem. Tried with FF and IE and download stops at 79 MB.

I have the same problem with instalation. Download is completed but when trying to install I get this error:

Error Code: -5001 : 0x80070002

Error Information:

Hi,

unfortunatly, this seems to be an error in windows. If you search for "Error Code: -5001 : 0x80070002" using google, you will find a huge list of errors, which seems to be connected with your windows installation.

We offer the "alternative download" for non-windows systems, this could also work for your, if you have an JRE installed.

Same problem here, download stops at 79MB. Never happened nothing similar when downloading on the net, so I really doubt it's a windows problem, more likely a problem on your server hosting the file

Hi Giovanni,

I just tested again, I download full 170 MB.

I will forward this to our IT, maybe there is an issue with the amazon cloud, we will check.

Hi Giovanni,

we still not found out what the problem is. We have hundreds of downloads per week, but there is a (very small) percentage of users, where the download stops. This might have many reasons, proxies, whatever...

This is a link to amazon cloud s3, with the same file. Can you try this out?

If this is successful for you, we will change the download location to amazon clould generally.
