Hi

Using the CSV option on a table widget I find that the sequence of the CSV columns are not produced in line with the sequence of my table.

I have on occasions moved the columns around on the table in compose mode and I have even tried creating a new table component from scratch (without moving columns) but the CSV file chooses it's own column sequence and it is difficult to work out why - columns are not A-Z or even formats driven.

Does anyone know how can I configer the output and save it so that it always exports in that sequence as moving columns around in Excel every time is very time consuming?

Thanks

Charles

I added you to the group. Now you can choose the MashZone group when you create a new article about MashZone.

Many thanks

Does that mean that my open articles will now get to a wider audience as one of them on speedo calculations has been around for a while?

Regards

Charles

Hi Charles,

there is quite a good chance that articles within the MashZone group are scanned and handled by MashZone folks.

We are aware of the CSV export problems, please expect them to improve by end of this year.

Regarding your pending speedo question - I think there will be response shortly.

Regards

Stephan

Hi Stephan. Do you have new news about any new version of MashZone (maybe 2.2) that can solve the problem of the rows ordenation when you are going to export a document as CSV?

Thanks and regards.

Hi Stephan,

Where can I find news about the release date and features of Mashzone 2.2?

Will the column orientation of an exported table to a CSV file be corrected in 2.2?

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason

as soon as MashZone 2.2 is available we will start writing a special blog post series to describe each of the new features. Then you will also have the opportunity to download the new version on the mashzone website.

Regards,

Marie
