Hi all,
I've configured BP to use LDAP login in webappserver. All works fine, and in administration I can assign LDAP users to exports.
But when I try to login with a LDAP user (assigned to an export) I recive:
"Login failed. Please enter the correct user name and password "
Cheking log file sytem.out:
IT_14b3aa6e925_SEVERE 2015-01-30T12:43:12,165 BPError - com.idsscheer.aris.businesspublisher.application.business.components.login.NativeLogin.ABPNativeLogin.authenticate NO MESSAGE AVAILABLE - Original request query: /businesspublisher/login.do com.idsscheer.aris.businesspublisher.application.business.components.login.ABPLoginException: ABPNativeLogin restricted to root and anonymous. at com.idsscheer.aris.businesspublisher.application.business.components.login.NativeLogin.ABPNativeLogin.authenticate(ABPNativeLogin.java:42) at com.idsscheer.aris.businesspublisher.application.business.components.login.ABPBaseLoginModule.login(ABPBaseLoginModule.java:80)
The ldap tag on webappserver is well configured imo:
<LoginModuleSection value="BPLogin"/>
What I'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Aleix Targa
PD: I can serve log files, configurations, etc

Checking log/externalSystems/ldap-9.6.0.901556_0
I get this exception when I assign LDAP users to Publisher Groups:
IT_14b4a06777d_SEVERE 2015-02-02T12:21:52,765 com.idsscheer.aris.businesspublisher.application.business.components.login.LDAPLogin.ABPLdapHelper.pagedGetAll Login error: A non-valid item was encountered in ABPLdapHelper:pagedGetAll IT_14b4a069da4_SEVERE 2015-02-02T12:22:02,532 com.idsscheer.aris.businesspublisher.application.business.components.login.LDAPLogin.ABPLdapHelper.pagedGetAll Login error: A non-valid item was encountered in ABPLdapHelper:pagedGetAll Thanks AleixFinally I solved the problem.
The best way to use LDAP with Publisher is to configure LDAP in UMC.
Then you have to edit
base\webapps\businesspublisher\config\webappserver.cfg
and config this TAG:
<LoginModuleSection value="UMCLogin"/>
Then you have to edit
base\webapps\businesspublisher\config\umcconfig.cfg
That's all.
I am unhappy couse this specific configuration doen't appear at Manuals.
