We have a counterposed ideas, and we need help for solve it:

1) It posibble create a Solman project and Sync to ARIS, edit, modificate or update on ARIS then upload the changes from ARIS to Solman in the SAME PROJECT?   (Structures, Documents, Flow, Charts, Process or any other object)

How we can perform this?  Please give a guide for perform this.

2) If I create my project on ARIS, I can edit or update on Solman and re-sync back to ARIS?

3) From Solman to ARIS and ARIS to Solman... Is possible sync multiple times the same project?

How this works?

We are using ARIS 7.2 and Solman 7.1

At the moment we have connected Solman and ARIS with the JCo and is working for download the project and review the standard Business Process from the BPR, the idea is edit under ARIS the flow and sync-back to Solman is it possible?.

Regards!

Hola Antonio, buenas tardes.

Saludos.

Hi Antonio,

to 1)

Yes it is. Creating a solman Project, incl. defining the logical system is the first step you do in case to prepare the Sync from ARIS to SolMan. This project is an empty project at the beginning. After the initial load in ARIS, you can bring all your processes (in scope) in it and transfer back into the same project.

to 2)

Yes, but the best practices we suggest from IPR Team is to have ARIS as a Master of update, delete..

to 3)

Yes, you can. Just ensure that your Blueprint structure has 3 levels and the SAP ID from the previous Sync exist.

BPR content can also be transferred to SolMan.

Regards !
