AR

Hi ,

I have one report in ARIS Architect. I am able to see this report in publisher as well.

when I am running from architect, I am getting a proper expected output in xls file.

but when I am running the same report from ARIS publisher I am getting one blank xls file as output and also visibility of columns is not starting from A.

suppose in output file(which is generated from architect) columns "A-D" contains value then in output of xls file ( which is generated by publisher) visibility of columns starting from "E".

do you have any idea that why it is happening??

please provide your valuable suggestions.

thanks,

Ankit

Hi Ankit,

I had similar problem, but only with connections on a model. The issue is that Publisher is working with latest variants of models. Therefore in Architect you may have data that are missing in Publisher. This will cause the lack of data in Publisher report, but I am not sure about the missing columns. I might be wrong though.

Regards.

Martin

Sorry for no response in a long time.

In my case I just need to make new variants of model that have been updated.

I just did not have time to make a script for it.

In your case it depends on what your script is supposed to do.

What type of data are you reporting?

What do mean by report visibility of columns starting from "E"? Columns "A-D" are hidden?

Are you sure that the data you want to report are actually in the Publisher's database?

Thanks Martin for your reply :)

Yes, columns A-D are hidden and when I am dragging from top left I am able to see A-D columns but only with column headings. data is not populating in these column. And yes the required data is present in publisher's database.

I am reporting data related to L2, L3, L4 objects(attributes,relationship etc...).

do you have any idea regarding this problem?
