Problem with opening diagrmas created in ARIS Business Architect 7.1

Hello everybody,

I've got question about opening diagrmas created in ARIS Business Architect 7.1 in Oracle BPA.

If I backup database from ARIS Business Architect 7.1 another person who restore this database and use Oracle BPA can not open EPC diagrams and UML Class diagrams.

In another case, if another person backup database from Oracle BPA and I restore it, I can not open UML Class diagrams (EPC diagrams are ok). I've go folowing error:

"The model has already been changed using Aris UML Designer. However Aris UML Designer is not available."

I have already install Aris UML Designer 7.1. So what is the problem?

Another question is if persons who use Oracle BPA can correctly use Aris database backup form ARIS Business Architect 7.1?

You cannot back up databases from one environment and use them in another the BPA and ARIS databases are not directly compatible. There is a process that you can go through to make them compatible if you are running both environments. Perhaps someone here can provide guidance on how to do this as I have not done it.
