Hello Community,
I have a requirement to change the access protocol of an established ARIS Connect Server solution. We now want to use HTTPS over port 443, rather than HTTP on port 80.
I've read through the associated documentation, but I can't find any instruction on how to a) enable HTTPS on an already established installation (guidance is available for new installations only it seems), such as installing the required certificate, etc, and b) redirect any incoming traffic on port 80 to port 443 with associated protocol switch.
Has anyone done this before? Does anyone know of any guidance available to help make this change?
Many Thanks,
Ben
Well, I do that usually the other way around for easier handling of demo installations when HTTPS (and missing certificates) would rather bother the testers.
How to turn off HTTPS and keep HTTP only I posted some time ago:
http://www.ariscommunity.com/users/nisha/2015-01-30-unable-access-aris-96
But I guess you could turn this procedure upside down to disable HTTP and enable HTTPS only.
Not sure, but maybe these parameters need to be set, too:
+zookeeper.application.instance.scheme=https +HTTPD.zookeeper.application.instance.port=443
Please share a working procedure with the ARIS Community!
Cheers
