Registration wizard does not get connected to Aris Community

Dear Aris Community,

I have downloaded the latest windows version of Aris Express available on your website, and when I try to open Aris for the first time it gets stuck at checking my user name and password as the registration wizard does not get connected to Aris Community.

I currently have windows 8.1. I have read the FAQs regarding this subject, and I have also downloaded Java version 8 update 40 and enabled it in internet explorer 11 and set the Java network settings to use browser settings as suggested by the FAQ. Moreover, I have made the internet explorer as a default browser so as to allow the registration wizard to automatically use it. Please advise regarding this issue.
