This brand new product was launched last week at CeBIT and shown live for the first time in our utilities showcase named “Process Excellence for the Energy Grid”. With webMethods Business Events, datastreams from different sources are filtered, correlated, analyzed, aggregated and enriched with information. In April 2010, Software AG acquired RTM Realtime Monitoring GmbH, an innovative spin-off from the University of Marburg in Germany that has developed a novel technology, based on a long-term research project. This so-called CEP engine is designed for high-volume, low-latency event processing and is able to process event streams on-the-fly. It derives meaningful events out of data streams provided by different IT systems with the ability to immediately trigger appropriate actions. By being tightly integrated with Software AG’s product portfolio, webMethods Business Events can further event-enable organizations with real-time visualization of business events via the integrated, interactive dashboard capabilities of ARIS MashZone.
