Dear all Anyone knows, why is blocked the diagram "Calendar shift" in Architect 7.1 ? Thanks!
Hi,
this model type is a special model type for ARIS Simulation in the old ARIS Toolset. You cannot use it as a "normal model" but only edit it with a dedicated wizard in ARIS Toolset. This information is also available in the method help, which I copied to this post as well (see below).
Bye,
Frank
API Name: MT_SHIFT_CAL
Model Type Number: 113
ARIS Business Simulator and ARIS Simulation of ARIS Toolset take resource availability into account during a dynamic simulation. With a shift calendar, you can define when personnel and material resources are available for executing functions. Shift calendars display working hours and are assigned to resources. Assignments can be made in process models, function allocation diagrams, or organizational charts. Shift calendars are assigned to the organization view of the ARIS House.
Structure of a shift calendar
For the exact mapping of working hours and breaks, shift arrangements or other working hour arrangements in a dynamic simulation, the shift calendar offers the following object types:
- Shift
- Break
- Shift cycle
- Shift plan
Special features of the shift calendar
The Model Wizard supports you in the creation of a shift calendar and guides you through the individual steps. It is started in the Designer module or in ARIS Designer of ARIS Toolset. This wizard will also help you make changes to existing shift calendars. All shift calendar objects can be selected in the Explorer module or in ARIS Explorer of ARIS Toolset and edited in the attribute window. Shift calendars can be viewed in the Designer module or in ARIS Designer of ARIS Toolset.
Shift calendars are organized in a tree structure. Thus, several breaks can be assigned to one shift, several shifts can be assigned to one shift cycle, and several shift cycles can be assigned to one shift plan. There can be only one item on the top assignment level of the shift calendar. This item can be a shift plan, a shift cycle, or a shift.
