Semantic Checker Imported Common Files

How do you import common files when writing your own custom semantic rules? For scripts there is a button under properties to select the common file to be included, but there isn't one for semantic checks. Help.

For those of you that may be impacted, I have word from the help desk that when writing customized semantic rules, using common js routines by accessing Common files is not currently supported.  They do agree it would be a useful feature in a future release.
