DI

Hi All,

We are working on a requirement to move models from one DB to another via Merge. The below is the set of requirements and the cureent status:

Reqt -

1)need to copy a model (of differnt type) to a model of ePBM type

2)need to copy all attributes maintained at object level as well as model level

3)need to change the object type of all objects which are non compatible to ePbm type

Status -

we tried copying model to ePBM type by using model generation class.

achieved:

model gets successfully copied to epbm type

attributes get copied

even the code can be customized to change the object type

not achieved:

representation of objects in the copied model is different     Can anyone guide us if there is any mechanism by which the representation of the objects is also maintained when copy from source model type to ePBM Model type. Thanks in advance.

Hi Deepak,

ensure that the symbols the objects have in the source model are also allowed for these object types in the target model

  1. by the method
  2. by the filter the user performing the operation is logged in with
