On 29. - 31. August 2010 IDS Scheer Research Projects participated at the 12th International MITIP (The Modern Information Technology in the Innovation Processes of the Industrial Enterprises) Conference on Information Technology & Innovation Processes of the Enterprises hosted by the Centre for Logistics, Aalborg University, Denmark. We present our paper "Conceptual Modeling of Complex Events in Industrial Business Processes" based on our latest research results within the ADiWa Project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Within that paper we have extended the event driven process chain (EPC) and developed a new model type called the Event Structure Model, which allows business users to model complex events used to configure a complex event processing engine. Our paper was affiliated with great interest and matches perfectly to the research results and discussed concepts and methods of the other participants from research centers and universities from all over the world.
Our paper is published on August 2010 within the:
