1. I have the Project, Scenario, Process and Process steps created in ARIS which has been pulled across from SOLMAN. Firstly I have noticed that the Scenario level are EPC diagrams with SAP function objects, Is it possible to configure this so that they are VACD diagrams with a SAP VACD function object at this level.

2. It has created SAP function objects in my epc for all non-sap functions and Process interface objects. There is a SAP ID for each of these generated. If i change the appearance of these SAP function objects to a normal function object will SAP recognise this as a non -sap function. ? Obviously the fad diagrams are only created for the sap function objects with the screen assoiated storing the correct sap transcation code.

3. I am getting a strange error message whilst adding the screen object to some of the FAD diagrams. Normally a pop up dialogue appears when dropping the screen object on the canvas, but instead i'm getting an error message. See below. I think it maybe something to do with the fact that i am using process interface objects to link my set of end-to-end epcs up. The error message only appears with the FADs created for the middle EPC diagrams (ones which have two process interface connectors linking the previous and next epc ). I have also noticed if I remove the process interface it still does not like it and still get the error message and pop up Transaction code dialogue will not appear. However I have tried manually updating the attributes include the SAP component and transaction code maintained. Getting slightly puzzled about this. I have checked all the nodes on the tree and the drill downs are working perfectly. There are no broken assignments etc. Maybe it just does not like my process interfaces. The Process interfaces are basically occurence copies of the Level 3 scenario processes ( function objects) reshaped to represent a process interface. I deleted the original sap function representations as the assignments were incorrect. Will it be easier if i just delete the process interface objects altogether?

4. Whilst running the SAP wizard, I undersrtand it runs a SAP consistancy check does anyone know what these checks are in detail.

5. I have associated a transaction code using a screen object to the sap function. I am just sorting some JDE connectivity issues out, once that is resolved I should be able to test the launching of these transcations, how are these related to the level 4 process i.e with the decisaion flows and parallel processing. Will it take the process into consideration? Just would like to further my understanding on this.

6. Currently all my epcs follow the sap function event sap function convention same for the non sap function , i recently came to understand that this isn't necessary for sap functions. Is this true for ARIS  for sap 7.2? Do i only follow that convention for non sap functions and at decision points? Will it synchronise okay with my current as-is .

Many thanks Faz
