Guten Tag,

Gerald

Hello Gerald,

I would like to help, so can you provide the english name of the connection type you wish to put on the top of the list?

Hallo Hr.

Hello Tony,

thank you for your help.

I didn't find an exact translation, but it must be 'execute' because when I look up in the Adminstrator Tab under Configuration->Method->Connection Type there are two Connection Types with the german name -

and the API-Name of these two Connection Types is CT_Exec_1 and 2 (screenshot attached).

Hope this helps you to help me ;-)

Hello Gerald,

I sow now that it is "carries out", the API name is always helpful - it is like the animals latin name: all the same across the world.J Back to the topic. Unfortunately I didn't success to find a quick solution for relationship reordering, and I assume that you wish to use the Entire Method filter. Of course, I'm not aware of your current project needs, so you might have some reasonable reasons to use the Entire method filter only. Otherwise a dedicated filter would be quite helpful, especially if you want to lower convention errors, and keep modeling consistency.

Hello Tony,

thank you for your investigation. In fact we don't use the Entire Method.

But the 'funny thing' is, that when I switch to the Entire Method Filter the desired connection type is on top of the list - just as desired 8o(

So it's a bit confusing that it seems not to be possible to customize the order of connection types.

Hello Gerald,

the issue sounds quite different now, as I had the impression that you wish to reorder the connection types in the method. Indeed, when a customized filter is created using the same items it reorders the connection types by some unknown reasons. It looks like a bug to me.

Hello Tony,

next week I will participate the ARIS User Day in Saarbrücken. Maybe I can find someone who can tell me more details about that case. If I can find out something I will post it after the event.
