Unable to Download

Hi Parveen,

can you please have a look at your Java Console? You usualy find it by right-clicking on the Java coffee cup icon in the System Tray left to clock in the Windows Taskbar. There should be an Item Open console. Please open the console and copy the text to this forum. I will examine the exception.

I thínk, the JRE is not configured correctly.

Hi Folks,

I feel that there is some problem with my JRE instance.

The issue got resolved, and now I have ARIS Express Beta on my desktop.

I have the same issue and followed all the instructions (downlaoded latest JAVA and checked settings), but still get an error message. Below is the text from JAVA

Hi,

are you accessing the Internet through a proxy server? In that case you have to set the proxy settings for Java. Please review the FAQ document how to do that.

Thanks, this helped.  I have managed to download, but now run into the following error when launching the application "not able to verify password:

Hi Lex,

yes, you managed to set up the proxy settings... but only for the HTTP protocoll, not for HTTPS (named "secure" in the proxy settings).

Your user data is transferred via HTTPS in order to avoid some "sniffer" tools being able to find your password out.
