Can somebody tell me what kind of information should be stored in Functions and Data elements of Aris house?
I know what are organization, processes and products/services elements, but I am not sure what kind of diagrams should be in other two elements of the house.
In our organization, we are capturing the Data Architecture Models in this part of the ARIS house. This primarily comprises of Entity-Relationship models, Data Flow Diagrams, etc. We connect the data architecture with our System Architecture and consequently with the Process Architecture through occurrence copies of the relevant objects in the other model types. Function - What is done in the Application? Ex: For Sales Processes-Confirm Order
Data - Which Info is received or delivered? Ex: order data - order no, address etc
Data is commonly modeled using KPI Tree, Technical Terms Model, IE Data Model, Risk Diagram
Function is modeled using Strategy Diagram, Objective, Application System Type Diagram
