LS

Hi everyone’s,

Where I’m working they provided me ARIS Designer with English language as filter, so I design process in Spanish with that filter. Then I had to translate the process to English, but this time was with Spanish filter, so I design the process in different language filters.

So my question is, can I interchange the process for some easy and quickly way? Or just I have to do it manually.

Regards!

Hi,

could you explain problem a bit more in detail? As example: what do you mean my "English language as filter"? Are you just talking about the database login language?

Bye,

Frank

Hi Frank,

Exactly, I'm talking about database language. I designed process in Spanish in database login language in English, and process in English in  database login language in Spanish.

So, i need to put in order each processes with its corresponding database language.

i do understand?

Sorry if my English is not perfect I'm trying to do my best!

Thanks in advance

I Luis,

I think you opened your data base in English and fill all the attributes with your natural language (Spainish).

What you want to do now is to put the content of the English attributes (written by yourself in Spain) into the Spanish attributes to be able to use again the English attributes.

If I am right about your need, the best way is to create a script to do this.

let me know if my understand about your need is correct ?

Hi Luis,

I think you can use the standard script for translation and switch English and Spain language.

1 - Generate Excel file to translate in French (for example).

Copy and paste the content of English language (Strings in Spain) in the column for French and import again the file to translate.

2 - Generate Excel file to translate in English.

Copy and paste the content of Spain language (Strings in English) in the column for English and import again the file to translate.

3 - Generate Excel file to translate in Spain.

Copy and paste the content of French language (it contains strings in Spain) in the column for Spain and import again the file to translate.

4 - Delete French language in the data base.

Let me know if it works.

Best Regards
