I am interested to know if there is an Administrator function in ARIS Process Board similar as to what is available in the ARIS Administration Module with Process Administration Rights.

If I log into ARIS as System Administrator I can view all processes and the current status for ALL users.  If I log into Process Board I only see the tasks associated with the logged in user.  Even if I log in with a system account I can only see the processes involved by that account and no one else.

Is this by design or am I missing something?

Thank you for your help,

Mike

Hello Michael,

From the process board, you can have access to other user task box if you have the privileges for it. For this, you need to either go to user central management and activate the process governance administrator or use the person object defined in your org chart and activate the attribute in process automation group relevant to administrator, then sync your orga chart and it will be activated.

You can only see one user at a time using the button "change user" in process board and to execute the task, you first need to delegate the task to yourself before being able to edit it.

Reset user will bring back your own task box.

Hello Tanguy,

Thank you for your response.  I appreciate you taking the time.

In Process Board I can check tasks by user, but is there a way to  "show me all open tasks by all users?

Basically, in ARIS Administration there is a view to show the status and who any task is assigned to under the tab "Human tasks".

Do you know if there is similar functionality in Process Board?

Again, I appreciate your help and guidance.

Best Regards,

Michael

Hello Michael,

The only possible way is indeed in the Human Tasks tab of ARIS Administration. There is no such features in Process board.

You can only view one process instance at a time and the current history of tasks.

ARIS PPM gouvernance monitoring could provide you an overview of the open human tasks but the installation is a bit tricky.

Regards

Tanguy
