NB

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to manage an application ID card mashapp in MashZone. As I have many applications to deal with I would like to set all information to "blank" if the application filter is on "No selection".

I've tried to manage this in the Assign data view. I select the filter and set conditions on: "block values" if filter "is empty".

As you can guess since I ask for your help, it didn't work. I've tried other solutions/settings but did not succeed.

Does anyone succeeded in such settings?

Many thanks and regards,

Nicolas Ballarin

Hi,

Try setting "condition not met" on the filter.

Hi,

That was highly helpful.

Thanks for the hint. I think I could have lost quite a lot of time looking for this.

What about the "no selection" function of the selection box?

Cheers,

Hi,

That works when you want to deactivate a filter and display all values.

My point was to be able to block all values in a mashapp if no item selected.

The "no selection" option doesn't allow this kind of settings as far as I know.

See example below:

One item (Application name selection box) selected =>

No item ((Application name selection box) selected =>

Hi Laurent,

Yes it finally worked.

You have to combine the two answers I got from aris community (see

In detail:

The idea is when linking a filter (as component) in the "Assign data" window, to set the filter on this parameter :

Which combined with the "No selection" parameter of the filter on the mashapp allows you to have all components empty as long as no item selected in the filter.

Hope this answer is clear enough.

If not, just let me now.
