ARIS 9.6 Upgrade

Hi All,

We have completed the installation of ARIS Design Server and ARIS Client . We have imported all the data's from the previous database.

We have followed the below steps to start the ARIS.

After ARIS Design Server is installed, ARIS is available as download client. Hereby I have mentioned the

steps to starting the ARIS.

1. Open the browser and enter <IP address or fully-qualified host name>/#<tenant>/home. The login

dialog opens.

2. Enter the user name system and the password .

3. Click Log in.

4. Click the user name system > Download clients. The product page opens.

5. Start ARIS Architect/Designer.

6. Log in as system user.

After login as system, the product page is opened in browser, but

when we click the Start button of ARIS Architect/Designer then empty page is displayed.

Could someone advice why the empty page is displayed. Is this a license problem?

We have tried to assign ARIS Architect or ARIS Designer license, but both cases were failed. Please advice the correct license file assigned to the user.

Could you please help us to overcome this issue.Please advice how to Start ARIS Architect/Designer.

please check your IE version, ARIS 9 compatible with only IE9 and above. Try upgrading IE it should solve your problem

Thanks for your kind help.

The IE version is IE11.

Could you please provide a solution to solve this issue.

Please provide your JRE(Java Runtime Environment) version you are running...

Hi Nisha,

Apart from checkng the jre version as suggested by Francois, you may also try taking a backup of content in folder (C:\Users\<<userid>>\ARIS90 ; on your local machine) and then removing the existing content.

After you have done this try logging into url again and downloading the client.

Thanks for the advice.

I removed the existing content available in the folder(C:\Users\<<userid>>\ARIS90) and logged into url again as download clients as you suggested. But still I got the same empty page when I click the start button of ARIS Architect/Designer.

Could you please help us to solve this issue.

Hi Francois,

Thanks for your response.

Herewith I have mentioned the JRE version.

java version "1.7.0_25"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b17)

Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 23.25-b01, mixed mode).

Please help us to solve.
