Course Information:

webMethods Integration Workshop

This course is meant for someone who is new to webMethods and ESB (webMethods Integration Server) development. It introduces the webMethods brand within the Software AG Digital Business Platform. Participants learn through hands-on exercises how to develop/debug and monitor integration solution services using Software AG Designer and My webMethods Server (MWS). The concept of the data pipeline is introduced and students learn to use mapping tools and flow services to move XML documents and flat-file data into and out of Integration Server. Students are also introduced to messaging, the Integration Server Java® API and the Web service capabilities of the Integration Server. Students also learn about webMethods adapters. The adapter for Java® DataBase Connectivity (JDBC®) is covered in detail. In the last section of this course, students have a chance to use the services they developed within an automated webMethods Business Process Management Suite (BPMS). This gives them a small taste of what's possible using webMethods BPMS. Exercises are designed to prepare students for self-sufficiency.

Yours Sincerely,

University Relations Team
