Last week the CeBIT, one of the biggest IT fairs in the world, took place in Hannover. I worked at the combined Software AG and IDS Scheer booth presenting the ARIS Solution for EAM and the integration between webMethods and ARIS. It was great to be there and to discuss with so many people and customers who were visiting our booth. They all liked to see the newest demo showcases of our combined products and services.
But the way they contacted me was pretty different (and sometimes fun). Some of them arranged meetings, some of them just stopped by and some of them observed me like undercover agents before they started the ‘Attack’ with questions (the competition really like to do that). I always like the sneakers (CeBIT tourists). You cannot hear them but suddenly they stand next to you or look over the screen and immediately start to talk and ask for give-aways. Nothing for weak nerves.
In terms of EA I had some very interesting discussions about EAM and the ARIS EA solution, but exactly the dashboard topic was one of the top 5 EA subjects customers were interested in. I presented some brand new examples how MashZone can be used in the context of EA and I will upload some of them in the MashZone gallery within the next weeks.
