It appears that when I look at the RACI for an EPC diagram that it is returning errors. Accountable and Contributing roles are showing incorrectly. Accountable roles show as C and Contributors show as blank. The RASCI report in the designer reports appear correct.
I cannot reproduce this. If I connect Organizational Unit objects to a function, the following results are displayed in the RACI table:
- Connection type "carries out": R(esponsible)
- Connection type "decides on": A(ccountable)
- Connection type "is technically responsible for": C(onsulted)
- Connection type "must be informed about": I(nformed)
And this output is correct.
Are you using different connection or object types? If yes, which types do you use exactly?
I see my problem. My database is set up as "standard" and not "advanced". As a result I can connect a role to a function as is one of the following:
Role is technically responsible for... showing on RACI as C(onsulted)
Role contributes to... does not show on RACI
Role Carries out... showing on RACI as R(esponsible)
My assumption was "is technical responsible for" would map to R. I did not see other connects because of the database set up.
