I'm working with quite a big model and when I try to save it, I get the Following Message.

Going into the details of the dialog box this is the data shown:

Hi,

it would be great if you could attach you model to this post (if it does not contain confidential data). So I could have a look on it.

Bye,

Frank

Hello Jaime,

are there any error messages then?

If you export the file to PDF, which directory do you select? Is it a remote or local one?

Bye,

Frank

Hi I tried saving and got this message. And the elements in the model all looked like the picture below. Any ideas what is the problem? We work directly on a server and the models are accessing a server as it is being created but it happens on a regular basis.

Hi Sam,

the behavior you mentioned does not occur in ARIS Express but in ARIS Business Architect/Designer. Please contact support.

Bye,

Frank

Hi,

this error seems to be caused by a constelation which is not part of our test suite.

So, if you detect it again, please post the loggings in this thread.

You can find them as well in a folder on your harddisc: have a look in

<your user's default directory>\ARISExpress\server\log

- and -

<your user's default directory>\ARISExpress\log

Bye and thanks,

Frank

I am having the same problem. The model successfully saved up to a point. Now that it is completed (after many hours of work -- it is a large one), I receive an error message:

Unable to save 1 items :

- unknown error: null

(OID = com.idsscheer.aris.cscommon.webactionobject.VNodeIdImlp@254b08

I am not on a server; I'm using the free Aris Express. I am supposed to deliver the model to my client in 24 hours. Help!!

We had a server issue with ours where come 4pm it would have a backup so it prevented saving. Good for us as we could knock off early. We moved over to Oracle later on. Anyone had much luck after?
