When I first installed ARIS Epress, it worked just fine. But yesterday, after having used and closed it once, it didn't launch, any more when trying to, again. I tried many times, tried to restart Java and a lot more. In the end, I hoped it might work again after a system reboot. So, I put my plan for working with it again on today. But this morning, I encountered the same situation. So, I deinstalled and reinstalled it. Then, I couldn't find the installed entity. So, I tried again and again and searched my entire computer. It was nowhere. Then, I found out, I had the 32-bit version of Java while my computer was 64-bit. So, I deinstalled the 32-bit version of Java and installed a 64-bit version. Same prob. I can neither open the ARIS project files that I still have on my computer.
Can anyone help me, please? Thanks in advance!
Hi,
32 bit is absolutely fine also on a 64 Bit machine. Question: which is you operation system?
If you installed Express and are not able to "find" it, probably, the shortcut was not created. Please open your java panel (in case of windows: just via the system panel), first page, section temporary internet files, click "show". If Express is listed there, right click, and "install shortcut".
Bye,
Frank
