Hello Experts,
Currently I am using the ARIS Architect&Designer 7.2 and consider to upgrade to 9.8. Besides the Architect&Designer, the Connect is introduced as another option, still I am not quite sure what are the differences between the two product.
So far, it seems the most advantage of the ARIS connect is to able user login via webpage...
Could anyone provide standard documentation of the two products or share some ideas about it? Thanks a lot in advance!
Dear Richard,
Did you review already the capabilities of both ARIS Connect and ARIS Architect?

When coming from ARIS 7 you might have used ARIS Business Server 7.x + ARIS Business Publisher Server 7.x.
Many migration customers first think about replacing ARIS Business Server 7.x by ARIS Design Server 9.x, but wanting to keep ARIS Publisher 7.x also in 9.x. However, then the chance is missing to reach new target groups for ARIS, as only ARIS Connect Server could enable that.
That's because ARIS Design Server is a 100% subset of ARIS Connect Server. Additionally it provides a portal, social/process-based collaboration, and embedded mini-workflows. It can replace ARIS Business Publisher 7.x.
Literally, one could say ARIS Connect is a "2-in-1" product: modeling/designing processes + publishing/consuming processes.
Cheers
Rune
