Hi there,
I am currently trying to get the Business Architect Java Applet working on my Macbook (OS X Lion 10.7).
Java is installed and any Firewall that might be blocking the Applet is turned off. It just won't start.
Since it uses Java I thought it would be platform-independent. Or does it only work on Windows machines?
Thanks for any help.
Bernd

Hi,
Did You manage finaly to install ARIS Architect on Mac? I just managed to install it on Ubuntu. It was necessary to enter 2 lines in Terminal:
ln -sv $(which tar) gtar
PATH=$PATH:. sh /home/ubuntu/Desktop/install_ARIS.version.sh
and that's all. Now I can run Architect (of course without local). Do You think it might work with mac osx?

Hi Jared
Thank you for you response. It is greatly appreciated. I gave up hope with trying to find a resolution to the problem. I am a former windows user, and have a good knowledge of cmd, terminal code is foreign to me. I have copied your string entries and changed path pointing to a folder to on my desktop, but have unsuccessful.
Is there are alternate method, through the GUI.
Kind Regards
Drushen Naidoo
