Hello,

is there a way for an ARIS Connect user with an viewer account (read-only) to extract a diagram as a graphic ?

I didn't find anything in the tool bar available for the viewers and copy/paste as an image doesn't work as it's not possible to just select the diagram in ARIS Connect portal.

It seems this capability is just possible for users with ARIS Connect Designer account as it only appears once the Edit mode is activated.

Dear Sébastien,

On the tab Diagram you can start a report, e.g. "Export graphic as PDF". This would do what you want.

Dear Rune,

thanks for the answer. But I don't see the report launching button available for ARIS Connect viewer profiles. The Reports button is only available to our ARIS Connect Designer users (same as for the Export as graphic button).

Is there a difference between 9.6 and 9.7 (we are in 9.6) or is there something to activate in ARIS Connect administration for enabling reports for viewer licences ?

I already checked that this report is allowed for ARIS Connect in its properties, and I can launch it when I'm logged with a Connect Designer licence.

Yes, to start reports as an ARIS Connect Viewer has been enabled only with ARIS 9.7.

Dear Rune,

we have had exactly the same problem. We are now already using 9.8 and the report launching button is available.

But the problem continuous as we now just got an empty list of Reports to choose from.

Is there something to activate in ARIS Connect administration for enabling reports (or just some of them) for viewer licences?

Dear Martin,

When you are able to see/run the reports when a user account has a license ARIS Connect Designer but not with ARIS Connect Viewer, then you ran into a bug which has been fixed with ARIS 9.8 SR3.

I confirm. We just upgraded a couple of months ago from 9.6 to 9.8 SR2, and this still doesn't work for ARIS Connect Viewer. Just for Connect Designers.
