I have been working on ARIS and BPMN from past 3 months. I have basic understanding of ARIS and how it is used to Map Business Processes. Last week I got an Interview Call from a Multinational firm which has opening for ARIS Process Consultant. Since it has been a very brief period for me working on ARIS, I am not completely aware of the nuisances of the Tool.
Does someone has a list of question that can be expected in an ARIS Consultant Interview?
If yes please provide them or add a link of that forum.
If No, lets make the list now.
Beware I write tachilis below:
If you have 3 month of hands on experience with ARIS and BPMN, you either are already able to solve 90+% of the problems or will never learn to model.
Ask yourself
- Do you like modeling?
- Does BPMN reflect your personal way of thinking?
- Are you able to talk to customers, ask them questions, make them to tell you functional and non-functional requirements, present your customers your results and re-ask them them to fix the open issues?
(A process consultant must also be a social engineer :-)
If you can answer all 3 questions with "yes"
- go on
- stop worrying, and
- apply for the job.
