Hi folks,
According to the software requirements, ARIS MashZone just works fine with IE 7 or higher and Adobe Flash 10 or higher.
Unfortunately, when I open the Internet Explorer 9, I can't access the MashBoard. The Login page works, but after I entered the user credentials, I get the following blank screen:
I'm using the newest Flash version as well as the newest Internet Explorer build. Since I'm using Windows 7, I can't run the Internet Explorer 8 (as far as I know Windows 7 is not supported by IE 8).
Any ideas how to solve this problem? :-(
Thanks! :)
The same problem occurs when I want to implement the MashBoard as an <iFrame> element in PowerPoint 2010.
There are several addins on the web that allows to implement HTML pages directly into PowerPoint. Strangely, even real Flash movies (youtube) can be played right within PowerPoint.
When I implement the <iFrame> element in PowerPoint, and start the slideshow, the login screen appears and I can enter the user credentials. But again, when I hit the login button, the entire screen goes blank.
Is this a security issue? Aren't we allowed to run the MashBoard in other programs?
According to this interview with Mr. Klueckmann from 2010, ARIS MashZone can be fully implemented in PowerPoint 2010. But how does it exactly work? Does it work right out of the box, or are additional addins necessary?

We're currently trying to reproduce the problem. On my machine, with Windows 7, the described behavior does not show up with IE 8 or IE 9.
Still, we're investigating. Do you have some sort of ad blocker, browser toolbar or something similar installed that could block certain JavaScript functions?
