This video shows how you model a process landscape to provide an overview of the most important processes of the "MyFavoriteBookExpress" company.

To create a new process landscape, click on "Process landscape" in the "Model types" area. The process landscape describes the hierarchy and sequence of core processes. Core processes are basic processes that enable a company to attain its objectives. These processes and their execution are the foundation of a company's success.

You will now place the first object. In the "Symbols" bar, click on the "Process" object and position it in the model window. Enter the name "Core processes" for the object, and click in the modeling area. The core processes are "Purchasing", "Purchase order processing", "Shipping", and "Invoice processing". Use the Control key to place the four objects below the "Core processes" object. In the mini toolbar, click on the "Connection" symbol, press and hold the Control key, and click on each of the subordinate objects one after another. You will now enter the names of these objects. That is, "Purchasing", "Purchase order processing", "Shipping", and "Invoice processing".

You will now connect all subordinate objects with their superior object in a single step, as you have done in the organizational chart. Click on the "Core processes" object. In the mini toolbar, click on the "Connection" symbol, press and hold the Control key, and click on each of the subordinate objects one after another.

Save the model as "MyFavoriteBookExpress process overview". You have modeled the process overview of the "MyFavoriteBookExpress" company.
