Generate layout

You can generate the layout of a model automatically.

Procedure

1. Click on Arrange/Layout. The Layout dialog opens.
2. Specify your settings. You are offered different setting options depending on the underlying model type.
3. Check in the Preview area whether your settings achieve the layout you want to use as a basis for your model.
4. Enable the Use as default check box if you want the current settings to apply to all models of this type. These settings remain the same until you change them and apply the changes as the default.
5. Click on OK to close the dialog.

The objects and connections of the model are arranged in the selected layout accordingly.
