Activity/Process

Activities occur in various model types.

As models may describe different types of activities, different object symbols are available. For example, in a business process an activity represents an action that is performed within an individual process, but a process in a process landscape represents a number of activities. The Activity object is used here, as well, but the object symbol illustrates that this is a number of activities that represents an entire process within a process landscape.
