Hello All,
This is my first post on the forum so please bare with me ....
I am currently working on rolling out ARIS across some major change programmes and other smaller projects. A request I have had is to create a report to show how each project is impacting our processes and to show what cross-over they may have with other projects.
We have a set way of heat mapping the impact on process currently, which involves creating a VACD for each project which has in it; a Scope object (which represents the project) and then an occurrence copy of any process objects that will be impacted. e.g.
I have a group where all of these individual heat maps are stored, but I am having trouble creating some parts of the report that is to be run against an individual model. The three things I wish to display are:
1. Show the graphic and list the descriptions of the functions that the project is impacting - DONE
2. For each function that is impacted, show a list of other projects that are also impacting the same function - This should involve looking at relationships outside of the context of the model which is where I get tripped up.
3. For each Function that is in scope for the project, showing a list of the sub-processes that sit under it from our process hierarchy - Also struggling with this as it involves looking outside of the group at all functions in the database which have the process oriented subordinate relationship with the functions present in the model.
I am trying to do it through the WYSIWYG reports in ARIS 9.7 as I am not experienced in Java Script.
Any thoughts or ideas would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance
Andy
