I'm currently having issues with attributes showing in EPC models in business publisher. The model attributes that we've placed in the model header/banner are all shown when I view a model within Business Architect (or Designer). However, when I view the model through publisher, only some of the attributes show.
We recently made some changes to our banner.
Initially, the model attributes were manually added to an EPC. They included default attributes (Name, Status) and User Defined Attributes (Global Process Lead, Process Area). The default attributes were NOT appearing in publisher and the User defined attributes were appearing fine.
Then, we tried adding the banner and attributes to all models using a script. Now all the default attributes are appearing fine and user defined attributes are NOT appearing.
I can't find any place where I even get to select which attributes show in the publisher. Has anyone seen this or have any suggestions?
Thanks!!
Hello Angie,
the place to select which attributes are shown in a publisher export is
%arishome71%\BPServer\tomcat\webapps\businesspublisher\layouts\default\config\layout.cfg.xml
I guess you should add your user-defined attributes to layout.cfg.xml because Publisher does not know anything about your extensions of the method. Edit the Model attribute sections of the XML and set <include> tags for the desired attributes.
Under the search topic "layout.cfg.xml" you can find many posts regarding this setting.
