Dear community,
I am looking for a way to make sure that all ARIS designers see all available symbols for modelling by default in the symbol bar. At the moment, every Designer has to click the "+" and add all missing objects manually.
I already checked the settings for a model type in the method and found a tickbox called "default". However, I cannot tick this box for most of the symbols, even if they are structurally relevant.
One example is attached with a screenshot: I want to make the AND operator a default symbol for the model type EPC, but ARIS does not allow me to tick the box. Am I missing something or is there any other way to do this?

Hello Kai,
I'll try to help you with first part of your problem. As I know, configuration file, that defines set of symbols,which are available in the symbol bar, is stored in {disk}:\Users\%USERNAME%\ARIS90. Its name is ARIS.cfg. It contains information about client's settings of application. The best way to make sure that all users see all available symbols is to create original version of ARIS.cfg by setting up your application and then copy this cfg file to all the computers of your users.
If your organization use virtual desktops/applications (eg Citrix Xenapp), its easy enough to copy your original file to all users.
