Hi,
Does anyone have a script that can be run as a Windows Scheduled task that updates a database in publisher. We'd like to be able to have it run every hour so that users and reviewers can see their work in the Publisher interface.
Thanks
Brad
Hi,
You can use the following method to create a report that updates the export:
"
var oBusinessPublisher=Context.getComponent("BusinessPublisher");
oBusinessPublisher.updateExport( Database p_Database, String p_sWebAppServerAddress, String p_sExportName );
"
And then use "Script Runner" to run this report periodically. I think that every hour is too often and will affect your server performance.

Hi Brad,
Follow is information I got about Script Runner:
Scriptrunner allows the automated / scheduled execution of scripts on the ARIS Business Server or LOCAL server. The required key is an ARIS Business Architect client key. If your server key key has the U<number of users> flag which means that it accepts unique keys only, the scriptrunner key must be different from all other keys . The key is stored in the file "scriptrunner.cfg" in the entry
# Licensekey to use scriptrunner.clientkey=
The name of the file "scriptrunner.cfg" is not mandatory and can be set in the file "scriptrunner.bat" as a parameter . Scriptrunner.bat is installed as a sample file with the server setup.
An installed ARIS client is required. Scriptrunner runs like a normal client against the server but is technically part of the server.jar
Hope that helps,
Adar
