Hi,

the launch file on the left of your screenshot looks very strange. Could it be that you are using some kind of popup blocker in your browser? Please try to download and save the download file on your Desktop and start it from there.

Regards,

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

I have checked by pop-up blocker is turned off, and I have checked my Java, proxy server and network access and all appears to be as required. The install doesn't make it to the stage where I can select 'save' or 'run' so I am unable to try either alternative. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,

one suggestion from my side. Please try to insert the proxy directly to your JAVA control panel contained in your systems control panel.

In the tab "General" you will find the "Network-Settings".

Please select "use proxy server" and then open the advanced settings.

You have to insert the proxy for HTTP and HTTPS(Secure).

I hope that this will solve your problem.

Regards,

Markus

I have the same error message. To save it on the desktop, I was able to use right mouse click "save target as" and store the jnlp file on the desktop. When I launch it, I get exactly an error message : Resource konnte nicht geladen werden.

Hi Volker,

have you already tried my suggestion?

Cheers,

Hi Chris and Volker,

I also faced the very same problem, and realised that is the problem with the Java Instance. I also tried with JRE 1.6 update 13 nad got the very same problem.

I tried using JRE 1.6 Update 14, and able to launch the application. Its working fine for me.

@Markus: You are apsolutely right about the configuration, but I am not sure that even making the required configuration it is giving the error with JRE 1.6 Update 13

Just try with JRE 1.6 up 14, hope it works.

Regards

Parveen

Parveen,

Unfortunately I am not sure this is completely true. I am now using update 14 (as i thought it may resolve the issue), but unfortuntely I have still had no success.

I have tried your suggestion Markus, but it still appears to not fix the issue! I'll talk to our ICT team here and see if we can come up with a resolution.

Hi Chris, hi Volker,

I'm pretty sure that the JRE is not configured the right way, or the proxy does not allow the JRE to connect to the . I'd like to have a look on that, if you are still not able to run the tool.

In that case, please send me an eMail and I'm going to set up a webex session where hopefully I can help you to solve the problem.

Bye,

Frank

Hi at all,

we think we solved the download problem (which is described in this thread). A new version is deployed. Please test the download again.

If this not work try to remove the old installation first. So please open the Java Control Panel (Tab General)-> View..  , and  deinstall the old version of the application .

Regards Thomas

All,

The download now works fine, thanks for all your help. Part of the issue turned out to be some central policies on pop-ups and internet protection that were blocking the download from being successful.

Thanks for all help and suggestions.

Regards

Chris

Hello Mr de Peuter,

we are not sure about that issue. It might be that a Windows 7 Update in, possibly with combination of the new Java Release causes some incompatibilities. We will check this.

Bye,

Frank
