Hi,

Did anybody ever got the error "An error occurred in the report object model". Any idea what this means, what we can do to resolve this error.

For background, we are busy doing a mass move of models and objects to new folder structure, phase 1 of the move has been successful and we are testing phase 2, now suddenly this error occurs, using the same script we've used in phase 1 - a few models and objects were moved but at any point in the db the script crashes with this error (at the changegroup(newgroup) command). I have runned the script on a local backup, without any problems, but when we run the script on the server on a backup database we get this error, this is so strange......

Does the server somehow have a buffer that needs to be cleared, or does this relate to some sort of database issue maybe?

Hi Ciska,

this error occurs any time if something goes wrong with storing data in the database or if something is not allowed by the aris metamodel. In all cases a look at the last entry of the log file server/log/internalerr0.log provides useful information (stacktrace + detailed error message).
