Can we link a BPMN process in such a way, once clicked the LINK EVENT it will open the linked process

Hi,

I am trying to add a link in a BPMN diagram v2.0 in such a way that once I clicked on the THROWING LINK EVENT in the diagram, the linked process will automatically opens in a new window (Like used to do in ARIS EXPRESS v2.4), please share your feedback/recommendations.

Any recommendations/suggestions are really appreciable.

Place a Group around the event and assign the target model there.

The "proper" navigation through the Properties/Occurrences remains the default option.

Hi Ivo,

I have tried to place a group around the event, but I am unable to do that as the Group/Ungroup button was DISABLED (ref: attachment). Could you please tell me elaborately the procedure.

Any suggestions/recommendations are highly appreciable.
