I have been trying to make my Aris process maps as easy to use and understand as possible, especially for users new to Aris. I would like to suggest the following improvements:
- The 'Suprior model' icon is made much more obvious since most users don't realise they can return that easily to the superior model. Maybe the icon should be displayed in the main display area, somewhere above the process map?
- The drop-down list of 'Superior models' should only include 'superior models' as the name suggest s and not all maps that link to that particular process map.
- If more than one superior model exists, the latest accessed one should be highlighted.
- It would be very useful to have the option to view the process in the level above (in a small window or in the corner). For example if I go to one of my level 5 EPC models, I would find the facility to view where in the VACD level 4 model I am, very useful.
Dear Ms. Winiarski,
thank you very much for your suggestions you made. We will discuss them all in detail internally but before I leave you I will inform you about the actual situation (SR7):
From SR7 on we have complete new context menues and also the list of superior models are now more comfortable to use.
The list itself only contains elements, witch are connected to that model via a hierarchy relationsship so my impression is that list contains what I expect.
Thanks and Kind regards
Stefan
