Dear Colleagues,
Good day!
While installing ARIS Express following malfunction detected:
Users successfully registered on http://www.ariscommunity.com & Aris is installed on their computers, but after users enter their logins and passwords the system deadlocks and no possibility to enter «choose language» step granted.
Tried to prescribe proxy in existing Java – no luck.
Please advise.
With kindest regards, Galina
We have quite a number of people facing the same issue. Please advise what we need to do to resolve this.
The application just hangs there after we enter user id and password.
Tried with both new user id and pwd and existing user id and pwd - both does not work
Tried with home and office PC on different network, both does not work either.
Hi Alexander,
maybe your problem is related to wrong https proxy settings in your network: http://www.ariscommunity.com/aris-express/installation-faq#https
Kind regards
Eva
I'm still getting the error.
Made sure i'm connected as in solution 1
Made sure Jave setting is to User browser settings.
Tried third option (webstart) and it exceptioned out when trying to run it

Ok after talking to someone else in my team who 'stuffed' around for about an hour trying to get it working he asked "where did you get this version from". I told him I'd downloaded the installer from the recommended network drive and he commented the version of the Aris Express executable was too old "20.10.2016". He then renamed the client folder to client-old and copied the client folder (Aris Express executable date "15.06.2017") from a known working machine to mine and we attempted start up again, entered my Aris Community account details and it proceeded ok.
So it seems that the windows installer version of Aris Express must be too old on our company network drive. I'v advised the responsible team to get the new version of the Windows installer.
