HW

I am about to decide whether to use the Position object or Person type object when modelling our organization. Is there a difference in what object to use depending on the context? Do I need both? My question concerns all models where smallest organization object is present, ie EPC, FAD and organizational chart.

Grateful for any suggestions!

Hi Hanna!

Usually positions use for organizational structure modeling. Person type is a role, which you could use to define performers in process models and then assigning this role to some positions in organizational structure. The example below would be helpful, I hope.
