Is it possible to fully transfer process flows developed on the free trial version to another Aris environment?
At the moment we did a test by transferring bpmn 2.0 diagrams from one free trial version to another free trial version (Aris Basic). It worked well except that the text boxes we had placed next to the connections after gateways all disappeared after the import and were thus not transferred at all.
- Situation in Aris environment A:
BPMN diagram with Connections with filled-in free text box - see attached picture.
- Situation in Aris environment B after importing .bpmn files. Textbox not transferred.
BPMN diagram with Connections without the text boxes - see attached picture.
How to correctly transfer these textboxes?
Hi Harold,
I have just seen your post. I guess the problem is, that you are using a free text box without association to the sequence flow. Such a box is not part of a standardized BPMN diagramm that can be exchanged between different systems based on the standard XML exchange format. You should use instead a text annotation with an association to the seqence flow or (what I recommend) give the connection role a name and place the attribute near to the line.
