Hi,

Since today, I recognize a new behavior of my ARIS Express installation.

If I drag a pool to the working desk, the pool shape jumps to a very small size after dropping it and there are no usable points to grab the rim of the pool and change the size.

This behavior is new, and I'm not aware about, that I could have changed any settings before this.

It would be great if anybody in this forum has some insightful advice to solve my problem.

Regards

Jens

P.S.: The same problem with lanes. The behavior of all other symbols is normal.

Hi
I think you have some kind of issues related to Java JRE whichs is not working properly, on the follow link has an information about to adjust the Java cache and please check if your Java settings are adjusted as mentioned here:
Topic: "Why do I have to install ARIS Express again on each startup or after each reboot of the operating system?"

Thank you, André, but all Java settings are right like described in the post. I'm frustrated because of this issue. Aris Express works fine every day, but from one to another day, this strange behavior occurs.

Jens

Hi Jens, please check out your Format > Representation and there you can arrange the size of scaling.. the default is 120 for the model.. I'm not sure if will help but you could try this. Other option go to "Help > update program" to keep the last version of Express..

Representation is set on 120%. If I increase the value, the pool symbol is only "bigger too small".
If I drag a pool symbol from the symbol pane to the desk, its size is normal during the dragging but switches to very small after dropping it. I'm using the current ARIS Express version 2.4d and JRE 1.8.0_131.

Hi
I'm using the java version "1.8.0_291" and the same version of ARIS Express, maybe you could try to use the same java version.
