My designers have trouble with downloading the ARIS Advanced Desinger client (jar file) - this option is not available in ARIS Cloud. I tried to share my jar file for ARIS Advanced Architect with them and unfortunately it returns a message that the user does not have permissions (they don't have Architect role). Can anybody help me and suggest how Designers can access the ARIS Advanced Designer jar file?

You probably have only assigned Designer license to your colleague. That is sufficient for them to model in the browser. But in order to use ARIS Advanced Architect they need Architect license assigned. Then, a few minutes later the menu item Download clients will appear for them.
ARIS Advanced Designer's menu doesn't offer download clients as their license doens't include Architect:

If you have a sufficient number of Architect licenses, you could assign those to your team mates.
