Hello,
Good Day!!
Can anyone please advise why after the server restart the ARIS 10 services in ACC dont get started automatically and stays in "stopped". I've to manually start those services,it was not the case when we were having ARIS 9.8.Can anyone please tell what could be the reason for this and what I could do so that after every server restart I dont have to manually start those services.

The exception error shown in your screenshot tells me that there are privileges missing when running ARIS Cloud Controller.
Did you already check whether the Windows service ARIS Agent 10.0 is available and that its Startup type set to Automatic? That is a prerequisite that ARIS Agent is able to start ARIS Server automatically.
A difference between ARIS 10 and 9.8 is also, that ARIS 10 protects itself when running out of disk space or available RAM. It shuts down automatically to prevent data loss or file corruption.

Dear Krishna,
ARIS Server setup prompts you during the installation process whether you want to have ARIS being started up automatically. Maybe you have decided for a manual start at that time.
But no big deal to change that setting via this ARIS Cloud Controller command. First, check the autostart mode:
get autostart.mode
You probably get the return value "off"
The turn on autostart mode:
set autostart.mode=all
Cheers

hi Krishna,
The shown error message are caused by windows security.
They are okay, but they make we wonder which installation path you used.
Did you install it in "c:\program files" ? this would not be a good idea.

Please tell us more what you have to do to start ARIS.
Do you start the Windows Services ? Do you have to issue the "startall" command in ACC ?
What is the result of this ACC query ?
get restart.stopped.runnables.on.agent.start

Hi Patrik,
I've installed ARIS in "C:\SoftwareAG\ARIS 10".
Please tell us more what you have to do to start ARIS.- after the server restart ,runnables always seem to be in "stopped" mode, so I execute "startall" command in ACC to start the runnables and thereafter to start ARIS.
Do you start the Windows Services ? - No I dont start the Windows services, as I could see the start type of "ARIS Agent 10.0" is set to "Automatic".
Do you have to issue the "startall" command in ACC ?-Yes I've to issue "startall" command to start the already stopped services.
What is the result of this ACC query ?
get restart.stopped.runnables.on.agent.start - It shows as "false"
show instance abs_l - As per checking autostart is set to "OFF". Can you please advise if this could be the reason ?
( kindly find attached the screenshot containing above executed commands "ACC_commands.png".).

Hi,
no, the individual autostart setting of each runnable is overwritten by the global one.
Please look at the standard test below. If it does not help you, i recommend to adress the support an provide them with the ARIS logs collected by the collectlogfiles.bat
"
In order to start ARIS runnables during system reboot or Cloud controller restart please proceed as follows:
1. Start ARIS Cloud controller
2. Check the status of both properties "autostart.mode" and autostart.only.if.all.stopped" using the following command:
ACC+ localhost>show cfg
Standard:
autostart.mode (AutostartModes): off (default: off)
autostart.only.if.all.stopped (Boolean) : true (default: true)
3. Activate Autostart Mode using the command:
ACC+ localhost> set autostart.mode="all"
Now all runnables are started during reboot/restart.
Note: This setting does overwrite the settings for particular runnables (Standaed: Autostart: OFF)
"
